August 1 marked the first Celtic fall festival of the year--Lughnasadh. Many of us with vegetable gardens have begun some early harvesting; Dad and I picked all our radishes and lettuce and a few tomatoes, and I was pretty excited to see some gorgeous eggplants on the plant yesterday along with some banana peppers, zucchini, carrots, bell peppers, sunflowers, and, yes, more tomatoes. A couple of weeks ago we made dill pickles with my good friend Ann, so the canning season has officially begun.
Despite the warm up in temperatures expected to start today, the beginning of August is typically when a number of us turn our thoughts to fall projects.
With that in mind, make sure you check out our remaining inventory because we still have some beautifully rich, perfectly saturated fall colorways in stock to suit your autumnal projects.
And, I've adjusted the automatic discounts on the rest of the stock, too. Purchase 1 - 5 items, and receive 10% off. Purchase 6 - 10 items, and receive 15% off. Purchase 11 or more items, and receive 20% off. Also, orders over $300 qualify for free shipping.
Help me clear out the remaining inventory this fall so that the shop can finally be put to bed. Please share with your friends, yarn groups, online craft groups and communities, online threads, etc.
